Traditonal Hesken clothing close up

( Detail ) This is a sketch of Traditional Hesken clothing as worn by people farther north or for ceremonial purposes. It consists of a long tunic that is belted under the stomach around the hips. Part of the reason for this is Hesken males begin putting on weight after puberty so stomach size is sometimes seen as a sign of maturity. This is not a sole indicator though as not all Hesken get fat as they mature.

They typically wear short sleeves. The Hems of sleeves will be embroidered or decorated depending on region.

This outfit is somewhat unisex, seeing both men and women wearing it, though men and women have a range of clothing all their own this is the typical unisex outfit.

They typically wear a knife on the right side, or across their back above their hips, and a pouch on the right and/or left as unlike more modern clothing the traditional outfit does not have pockets.
